David Crow at the Institute of Noetic Sciences | Tucson, AZ | November 4th and 5th, 2011

November 4
The Healing Power of Plants

This talk will focus on the global need for medicinal plants, first as agents that provide nourishment and detoxification when pharmaceutical drugs cannot, second as sources of sustainable economies, third as protectors and rejuvenators of the environment, and fourth as the foundation for a more intimate and spiritual relationship with the natural world that is needed by everyone. When the biological, economic and political importance of herbal medicine is understood, a vision for a new medical system emerges. Mr. Crow will share his work and experiences in helping to build this new model of grassroots, nontoxic, affordable plant-based healthcare for all that is based on community gardens, herbal CSA’s that support small organic farmers, local supported herbal apothecaries and many other innovative and dynamic projects.

This public talk is offered by IONS Tucson, the local community group of the Institute of Noetic Sciences in Petaluma, CA. For more information closer to the date, please visit IONSTucson.org.
